For each booking made through the Lawrance Car Rental Platform, the Renter shall have to pay:
Security Deposit and Rental Fee is calculated on the basis of the start and the end time of the trip including the make/model of the car is selected. The rental fee per hour changes dynamically based on the lead time to booking start, location of the booking, vehicle chosen and the duration of the booking.
A minimum of AED 1500 Security Deposit is required for any of the bookings along with Rental Fee. Minimum delivery fee of AED 100 will be charged if you want the vehicle to be delivered to your address if your address is within 10 kilometer radius from central Dubai. Additional delivery charges will be added if the delivery address is located more than 10 kilometer of radius.
Deposit’s will be accepted through Cash or Credit Card. In case of credit card;
A pre-authorization is taken from the renter credit card at the time of rental. Pre-authorization amount is AED 1500 (As per selected cars). We keep pre-authorization amount up to 30 days until traffic fines, parking fees and Salik\Darb\Aber updates received from the Road and Transport Authorities (RTA) of Dubai.
In case of cash up to 30 days the same process to be followed, until we receive traffic fines, parking fees and Salik\Darb\Aber updates received from the Road and Transport Authorities (RTA) of Dubai . We will transfer to renter account or by western union.
All refunds shall be made through the original payment account/mode, 25 to 30 days. Any additional payments owed by Renters under this Fee Policy or other applicable policies will be paid by the Renter electronically within 24 hours of the booking end time, as per Lawrance Car Rental’s payment instructions.
The Renter shall ensure that the account from which the amounts are to be collected have sufficient funds or credit available to cover any charges and/or amount payable to Lawrance Car Rental. Renters are solely responsible for any associated bank or credit card charges or fees. Renters may be charged a processing fee for a declined credit or debit card payment.
In the event the Renter defaults on any payments, Lawrance Car Rental is entitled to charge reminder fees and default interest in accordance with the provisions of the law. In addition, Lawrance Car Rental may designate third parties to collect amounts owed to Lawrance Car Rental by a Renter.
Lawrance Car Rental reserves the right to prohibit a Renter from making a subsequent booking on the Platform until all outstanding fees in the Renter’s account have been paid in full. In the event a fee is incurred, the Renter will receive an email invoice from Lawrance Car Rental that will have detailed payment instructions.
Here is a comprehensive list of fees and penalties for certain scenarios after you have created your booking/reservation:
Cancellation made more than 24 hours before booking start time – No cancellation fee will be charged.
Cancellation made less than 24 hours before booking start time – Charged 50% of the rental paid in advance. Refund of the remaining portion of Rental after deduction of the cancellation fee.
Cancellation made after booking start time – No refund of Rental paid in advance.
Notwithstanding anything contrary stated herein, Lawrance Car Rental reserves the right to withhold any refunds due to cancellations, if Lawrance Car Rental, at its sole discretion, perceives any credit card frauds by a user or where cancellations are made by a user with an intention to defraud Lawrance Car Rental.
Allowed at any time before the expiry of the booking period. No extra charges, extension allowed at a normal tariff of the booking. However, the extension days must be booked at lawrancecarrental.com
Upon expiry of the booking end time, fresh booking will need to be made.
For Doorstep Bookings (such as Home/ Airport Delivery): Extension within 2 hours of bookings end time will lead to cancellation of Doorstep Collection. No refunds shall be made for applicable doorstep collection charges. Renter shall be liable to to return car at Host’s location by himself.

Late return would be charged at 1.5-2x of the hourly rental fee per hour on the day e.g, if the rent for the hired car is 130 divided by 24 hours, will be 5.4 AED.
Pricing plan cannot be changed post booking creation.
The minimum booking duration (also referred to as the “minimum billing duration”) for which a booking can be made by the Renter will be at least 8 hours.
Discount is applicable only on trips of a duration equal or greater than 48 hours at the time of booking. Discount is applicable only on the Rental paid in advance to book the vehicle. Each discount will be governed by a separate set of terms and conditions as will be visible in details of the discount. Lawrance Car Rental reserves the right to cancel a booking if any unwarranted use of a discount coupon is identified.
The vehicle should be returned by the Renter, upon the completion of the booking, with a sufficient fuel at reserve level.If the Vehicle is returned with lesser than reserve fuel, then refueling charges using the applicable petrol unit price per liter plus an additional inconvenience fee of AED 200 will be applicable.
Refueling charges – applicable petrol unit price x difference in fuel level (in liters) + AED 200).
The cause of breakdown will be determined based on the diagnosis report of the repair workshop. The consequences will be as follows:
Where the Renter is at Fault: Renter will be liable for the full cost of repair.
Where the Renter is not at Fault: No liability on the Renter for repair and refund will be processed for the unused hours of booking.
Lawrance Car Rental shall not be liable for any costs borne by the Renter as a consequence of the breakdown of the vehicle.
A flat fee charge of AED 500 + full hourly rental fee for use of the vehicle + full fee for late return until the vehicle is returned to the correct location, up to 24 hours if the vehicle is dropped in the same city and up to 72 hours if the vehicle is dropped in a different city.
Renter is completely liable for the payment of fines, be it traffic fines or parking violation which will be deducted from the deposit payment. Late payment charges will be as applicable.
Renter is bound to pay all the traffic fines or any parking violation during the usage, must be paid within 3 days to Lawrance Car Rental along with the AED 50 as admin fee and fines with black point must be paid within the 48 hours of fine occurring.
Bookings would stand cancelled if after 4 hours of booking start time the Renter still doesn’t show up. No refunds would be applicable.

All our cars are smoke free. A flat fee charge of AED 1000 plus applicable damage costs related to interiors (ex: interior upholstery, seat cover, floor mats, cockpit etc.)
The Renter will be liable for the full cost of repair / damage to the vehicle + miscellaneous expenses arising out of the damages.
A flat fee charge of AED 3000 plus replacement cost, if not returned within 3 days.
A flat charge of AED 5000 will be charged for the loss of Registration Certificate Card/Car License etc.
A flat fee charge of AED 1000 if co-driver has not been added in the booking before booking start time.
For any unintentional/accidental damage the Renter will be liable to pay for the damages as mentioned in the term for “Collision or other incidents – Damage protection package” (point 27 of this Fee Policy).
In case of any intentional damage or damage caused to the vehicle as a consequence of the Renter, such as
If a Renter is involved in an unintentional/non-consequential incident/accident (including but not limited to a collision or misuse of the vehicle), the Renter will be responsible for only the amounts as the Renter may have agreed for, upon selection of the Damage Protection Package at the time of booking the Vehicle. This Damage Protection Package will be based upon your Rental and duration of usage, distance covered, vehicle type etc. The Renter may choose from a Standard package (low premium and higher amount of damage payable) or Peace of Mind Package (high premium and lesser amount of damage payable).
Deductible amount AED 1500 will be charged where renter is at fault and provide a police report.
In case of Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) with a purchased Insurance Rate: Price Daily AED 25, Weekly AED 25*7=175, Monthly AED 250, with mandatory police report in case of accident.
Insurance is not valid in case of the driver name not mentioned in agreement. The renter will pay full repair cost + garage rent + 10% of new car value in case of accident. The renter is liable to pay AED 1500 as insurance excess amount in case of his fault or a damaged caused to the car by unknown party. This insurance excess is applicable for even minor scratch or small dent. However, if SCDW is purchased insurance excess will be Zero.
Renter will be responsible for all towing, impounding and damage repair charges associated with a collision or an incident caused by improper usage of a car in violation of Lawrance Car Rental Policies and applicable Traffic Laws as prescribed by the Dubai police authority in the below link provided,

If Renter returns the car dirty, such that it requires cleaning either on the insides or on the outer body of the car, he/she will be charged a cleaning fee up to AED 300
For the interior, the charges are as follows:
1. For dirty removable (foot mats etc.) – AED 300
2. For interior washing / dry cleaning (for seat covers, door panels, pet hair) – AED 500
Renters are responsible for paying all toll gates which is referred to checkpoints that charge drivers a fee to use a particular road or highways. In UAE, toll gates are present in different emirates, including Dubai (Salik), Abu Dhabi (Darb), and Ras Al Khaimah (Aber).

Home delivery or airport delivery will be available at an additional fee. Delivery Fee will be shown during booking stage.
Car will be delivered to the address which Renter input during booking stage. The Renter may end the trip before completion of the booking end time. The Renter shall not be charged if he/she has ended the trip before the booking end time and the car is yet to be picked up by the delivery executive of Lawrance Car Rental.
If Renters want to extend booking, the procedure and the charges mentioned under point 5 of this Fee Policy will be applicable.
The renter, their passengers, or any other person using the rental vehicle are strictly prohibited from engaging in any criminal activities while using the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to:
Drug-related activities, Drug trafficking, including the transportation, distribution, sale, purchase, possession, or use of illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
Zero tolerance regarding child trafficking.
Violent criminal activities, which involve the use or threat of force against a person is strictly prohibited.
Any involvement in the above mentioned clause will result immediate termination of rental agreement and reporting to relevant authorities.
